Q Dermatology was established in 2014 by Dr Quinn, with a vision to provide personalised medical and surgical dermatologic care. Dr Quinn has specialised in advanced skin cancer management, including Mohs micrographic surgery, an advanced skin cancer treatment with unequalled cure rates.

Born and raised in Brisbane, Dr Quinn obtained degrees in Biomedical Science and a Masters in Property Studies at the University of Queensland, prior to completing his medical degree at Bond University. Dr Quinn trained at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, before undergoing specialty training in Dermatology through tertiary hospitals in Queensland and Victoria. Dr Quinn received specialised training in melanoma and cutaneous oncology in Melbourne at the Victorian Melanoma Service and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. His areas of expertise include; inflammatory dermatology, and disorders of hair, nails, mucosa and sweat glands.

Dr Quinn ensures his clinical practice is at the forefront of the best evidence based dermatological care incorporating the latest treatments deriving from cutting-edge research. Dr Quinn is widely published in national, international and paediatric peer-reviewed journals, and he presents regularly at international conferences. He is a member of the American Association of Dermatologists, American College of Mohs Surgery and American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Dr Quinn has completed an Advanced Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery (MMS), Cutaneous Oncology, and Lasers; endorsed by the Australasian College of Dermatologists and the American College of MohsSurgery. Mohs surgery represents a highly specialised technique used in the surgical removal of skin cancers on the head and neck, which affords an unparalleled cure rate, whilst conserving healthy tissue around the skin cancer.
