Dr Courtney Ashford is a General Practitioner, and fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has special interest and expertise in general dermatology and assessment and treatment of skin cancers.
Dr Ashford has worked in both rural and metropolitan Queensland as a general practitioner, and brings this diversity of experience to her work now as a GP with a special interest in skin. Through certification with the Australasian College of Dermatologists (ACD), Dr Ashford has obtained her Advanced Certificate of General Dermatology, Skin Cancer and Vulval Dermatology.
Dr Ashford's genuine warmth and care is valued and appreciated by her patients. Dr Ashford recognises that, when skin diseases are well managed, this makes an enormous difference to her patients' quality of life, which is something she finds particularly motivating, rewarding, and fulfilling as a doctor.
Dr Ashford is available on Mondays and Thursdays at the Q Dermatology's Taringa rooms, and Wednesdays at Cleveland. A referral is not required. She offers appointments for skin checks, and rapid access general dermatology consultations. Acne, eczema, rosacea, Hidradenitis suppurativa and vulval conditions are special interests of Dr Ashford.
